The NewSkin project aims to create an Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) which will provide the European Innovation Ecosystem with the necessary technologies, resources and services to uptake a set of game changing, efficient and cost- effective innovative processes to manufacture nano-enabled industrial and consumer products as well as the necessary testing capabilities to demonstrate nano-enhanced goods features.
During our first webinar NewSkin Info Day #1, we have introduced the project itself and some of the facilities and new technologies that are being developed and related to the ceramic field. If you missed it, click here to watch the replay of the webinar and visit the event online page.
This second event will present an overview of the project, introduce the first of four Open Calls for free services provision and explain how you can benefit from it. The first open call is now open until the 31st of December 2021 and the execution for the awarded applicants is expected to start on April 2022. The types of entities allowed to participate include start-ups, SMEs, REC (Research organisations) including HES (Higher education establishments, Research & Development organizations, LEs (Large enterprises)
